Test Details
Use
This test can be used to complete the syphilis screening and diagnosis algorithm and to detect previous syphilis infection. This assay should not be used alone to screen for and diagnose syphilis infection. To screen for and diagnose syphilis infection, a reflex cascade that includes both RPR and a treponema-specific assay should be utilized per current guidelines.
